So girls, put on your oversized gauze, flower-printed tops with your Minnetonka fringe boots (you know which ones I'm talking about). Oh and don't forget to put those little braids in your hair and wear peace sign rings and tons of turquoise. And guys, just put on a nice pair of shades. Then walk down to the COM lawn and be a part of one of the most exciting events of the year: PhiStock.
AEPhi will host its second annual PhiStock on September 25th from 2-6 PM on the COM lawn. If you buy your bracelet in advance, it's $10, but if you wait until the day of, it's $15.
You're probably thinking to yourself, "This looks lame, and they couldn't even come up with their own design for the poster." Well my friend, we chose that poster design because we KNEW you would recognize it as the original Woodstock poster from back in the day. In AEPhi, sometimes we forget that we're not flower children of the 60s, which is probably why we have so many hippie-esque events and themes. Lucky for us, hippie is really in right now.
Alright, let's get down to business. What are you going to do for 4 hours?
Tables will be transformed into "booths," and each one will feature a different arts and crafts activity. These include:
- Tie-dye
- Face paint
- Henna
- Friendship bracelets (except way cooler than the ones you made at summer camp when you were 12)
- Even 2 hookah pipes (for those of you who don't really consider yourself the "arts and crafts" type)
Now, what's Woodstock without music? You definitely do not have to worry about tie-dying your t-shirt in silence. Various student bands will be performing throughout the day, including:
- Blue Mountain Bust Down
- Hypernova
- BU's very own Mike Irish
Peace. Love. AEPhi.
