Phi's Phavorite Philanthropies

Sharsheret is an organization that was founded in 2001 and has since grown to reach people nationwide. It is dedicated to helping young Jewish women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well counseling their family members.

The organization has recently been adopted by AEPhi as the sorority's national philanthropy. In that short time, AEPhi has already raised thousands of dollars for the cause. As women, breast cancer is a threatening possibility, so the sisters of AEPhi are dedicated and committed to helping in every aspect possible.

Besides PhiStock, the sisters of try to stay involved in other ways. Recently, the chapter participated in the American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer Walk. On a chilly Sunday morning in October, the sisters, along with other local chapters of AEPhi, gathered in downtown Boston to support women who have been diagnosed with the disease.

As mentioned in the previous blog post, the girls put on fashion show that raised money for Sharsheret and before their formal, they will host a manicuring event, whose proceeds will also go to the organization. Clearly, these girls are dedicated to their philanthropy and believe in its cause.
